I’ve had all my daughters take lessons at Hollywood since they were little ( my oldest, now 20, started when she was 6). They did the rounds: piano, voice, guitar. Each time one of them wants to switch, I was never given a hard time and they would try their best to accommodate the schedule I want. Hollywood only hires well qualified instructors and the staff are all friendly and courteous. I’ve recommended this business to a lot of my friends and will continue to do. This business has earned the trust and loyalty of many and that is why they’ve been in business for over 20 years.

When I was in middle school, I had piano lessons at Hollywood music with Auntie Elsa–just over 20 years ago. Although I was there just under two years, I attribute the lessons I learned there to my success with music programs and academics in high school and college.
I had been searching online and around town for a magic mic karaoke system to replace an old system our family purchased in the late 90’s from Hollywood Music. I no longer live in the area, but I googled Hollywood Music to see if they were still around, and to my surprise–they were! I sent an email asking for availability of the systems, and received a reply the same day stating they had them for sale at the National City location.
I walked into Hollywood Music earlier this afternoon, and was in shock to see Auntie Elsa there, still looking the same and still ever-so-passionate about her students. It was awesome to share fond memories with her about the “golden” years of the schools humble beginnings, and amazed that they are celebrating their 25th year!
Auntie Elsa, thank you for inspiring not only me, but countless individuals who have gone on to be successful within their own right. Even if playing music, singing, or dancing is not something that’s in the cards for us, your passion for the arts has forever left an indelible mark with us. It was best said by Agnus Gund, founder of studio in a school: “We share the importance of the arts, not only in society but also in building one’s self-esteem. And kids really grasp that: they’re confident and proud of themselves and share art with the people in our lives.”
Thank you for the music. Congratulations on your 25th year, and your current student body of 500+.

A very comfortable place for children to learn the gift of music and dance. I’m in awe of the talent, patience and bonding with the kids that the dance instructors have. You can tell they love what they do.

My daughter loves her ballet classes here. It’s once a week for an hour. She loves her teacher Ms. Mica! And Ms. Helen is super nice and helpful in front of the office! It’s also really affordable!

Elsa and Andy are good and caring owners of Hollywood Music. They are great entrepreneurs. They have all the patience with children. They treat each one as their own. This is a good place to enroll your kids for music, arts of dancing, music supplies, etc. They’ve been in this business for many years and has good expertise on each fields. Some of their students who graduated from their own talents still comes back to thank them and it goes on from one generation to the other. This is an amazing blessed place to go. Their staff are friendly too:)

I’ve enrolled my son in guitar and piano. The group classes they offer are great. He’s been attending for a year and really loves it! The staff is great. They aren’t pushy when it comes to recitals or selling you things. I do recommend this place to my friends that ask me about it.

We leave singing lessons only to hear more singing in the car and humming while she does things around the house. She absolutely enjoys the singing! Makes my heart smile! This will be her second month attending!
