HOW TO SIGN UP?

Registration will open in November for February to June production and in June for August to December production.

Auditions are placement auditions, meaning once you register, your child will have a guaranteed part in the musical.

The Workshop – What to Expect

During the workshop, the director will introduce the story, outline the main plot, and go over the list of characters. They’ll also explain what’s needed to play each role effectively. Participants will have the opportunity to read selected lines, listen to music, and sing together as a group. This interactive session helps young actors explore different roles and discover where their interests and strengths lie.

Workshops are typically held in July and January, with registration opening in November and June. Be sure to watch for announcements!

Role Placement Auditions

All participants who attend the workshop will also take part in role placement auditions. This step helps determine which role suits each actor best. During auditions, each child will be asked to read a line individually and sing one verse of a song selected by the teaching artist.

1. Role announcement and contract signing – Welcome to the exciting world of Musical Theatre. Whether this is your child’s first time or have participated in some musicals in the past, we welcome you and we hope to inspire our young actors to keep on developing their skills.

• Please consider the following before signing up for Musical Theatre production
• Rehearsals for the main cast is on Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 p.m. and Fridays 6:00-7:30 p.m.
• Performance contract $750.00 (can be paid monthly)
• National City location
• Rehearsals for the Ensemble cast is on Fridays 6:00-7:30 p.m.
• Performance contract for the Ensemble cast is $550.00 (option to pay monthly)
